How much XP you need for the next level or a target, and which level your XP reaches. Java Edition formulas.
Experience is not granted evenly: the higher the level, the more expensive the next one. The calculator shows how much XP you need to reach a target level, how much you have accumulated, and which level a given amount gives you.
A separate mode prices mending an item — the most common XP question there is, because every point of durability restored costs more than the last.
A third mode prices combining two items on an anvil.
Pick a tab: levels, mending, or anvil.
For levels, enter your current and target level.
For mending, enter the durability to restore and the enchantment level.
For the anvil, enter both item levels.
Each durability point costs 2^(level−1) XP, but the more often the item has been repaired the lower the multiplier. The same item costs steadily more to mend over time.
Vanilla caps you at 300. The /xp command will not go beyond it.
