Enchant an item: pick an enchantment and level up to max. Bedrock uses a different argument order.
The /enchant command enchants the item in a player's hand. An enchantment level cannot exceed its maximum — exceeding it makes the command fail.
Java Edition has a force parameter that lifts the cap, allowing things like Sharpness 10.
Argument order differs between Java and Bedrock, so picking the right edition matters.
Choose the target and the enchantment.
Set the level — the tool won't let you exceed the maximum.
Enable force if you want to bypass the cap.
Copy the command.
That's how the enchantment system works: every enchantment has its own ceiling. Only the force parameter overrides it.
Check the edition selector. Bedrock takes the enchantment in a different position than Java, and mixing the order up causes an error.
